Positive Review
We support the construction and rehabilitation of schools and learning spaces to provide safe, gender-responsive, and child-friendly environments. Our activities include classroom construction, temporary learning spaces, school WASH facilities, and solar-powered infrastructure to improve learning conditions.
To reach out-of-school children and adolescents, we implement Community Based Education (CBE) and alternative learning programs in remote and underserved areas. These flexible learning models help children who face barriers such as distance, displacement, poverty, and socio-cultural constraints.
We implement literacy and numeracy programs for adolescents and adults, with a special focus on women and girls. Our literacy interventions enhance basic reading, writing, and life skills, empowering participants to engage more effectively in education, livelihoods, and community decision-making.
We strengthen teachers and school leaders through training in child-centered pedagogy, inclusive education, safeguarding, and psychosocial support. We also support teacher deployment and incentives in underserved areas to improve teaching quality and retention.
We provide textbooks, teaching and learning materials, classroom furniture, and student learning kits to enhance learning outcomes, with targeted support for vulnerable learners.
Promoting girls’ education and women’s literacy is a core priority. We conduct community awareness initiatives, support female teachers, and create safe and enabling learning environments to reduce gender-based barriers.
In humanitarian contexts, we deliver education and literacy services to displaced and crisis-affected populations through temporary learning spaces, back-to-school campaigns, and psychosocial support to ensure continuity of learning.
We strengthen School Management Committees and engage parents and community leaders to improve school governance, accountability, and sustainability of education and literacy programs.
We promote inclusive education for children and adults with disabilities and marginalized groups by improving accessibility, training educators, and adapting learning materials to diverse learning needs.

We pilot digital and distance learning solutions, including mobile learning tools and teacher digital training, to expand access to education and literacy opportunities in remote and underserved areas.

We integrate literacy with Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to equip youth and women with practical skills linked to livelihoods and economic empowerment.
